A disastrous fire at the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack, Odisha, early Monday morning resulted in the fatality of at the very least 7 people. The fire is thought to have been caused by an electric brief circuit in the air conditioning system or medical tools. Healthcare facility personnel and fire safety and security employees acted rapidly to leave patients, but the smoke and intensity proved deadly for many already in delicate condition.
