Health Minister Doctor Aaron Motsoaledi says he has engaged with members of Operation Dudula, explaining to them that it is impossible for his ministry to differentiate foreign nationals from citizens.
Motsoaledi adds that Home Affairs is the relevant department for this and that Operation Dudula needs to follow the laws of the country.
The Health Department has condemned actions by Operation Dudula and other civic groups blocking foreign nationals from seeking help at public healthcare facilities.
